This product consists of extracellular vesicles isolated from Cordyceps sinensis cell cultures (mycelia plus fermentation filtrate). The producing organism is Hirsutella sinensis, confirmed by the Mycological Society of China as the sole anamorph of Ophiocordyceps sinensis and listed in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia since 2010 — distinct from Cordyceps militaris, C. cicadae, C. liangshanensis and C. pruinosa.
The proprietary strain was identified by the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, granted an invention patent, and deposited with CGMCC. Manufacturing uses customised PCF (Plant Cell Fermentation) in a fully defined, controlled environment: non-GMO, traceable, with a mature scale-up path.
